CEI’s “Wrap It In Red” Raises Thousands for Me Fine Foundation

“Wrap It In Red”, a fundraiser held on December 10th and hosted by locally owned CEI Digital Office, raised over $5,000 for the Me Fine Foundation. The digital office solutions provider hosted the event at their headquarters and WRAL-TV personality Elizabeth Gardner served as emcee for the night.

Adults and children alike enjoyed food and drink generously donated by an array of local vendors. Children had their photo taken with Santa, while the Leesville High School Orchestra and the Live Oaks band entertained the crowd with music throughout the evening.

All funds raised from Wrap It In Red went to Me Fine’s mission of providing financial assistance and emotional support programs to parents and caregivers with children receiving long-term medical treatment from Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals. Unwrapped toys were also collected for Me Fine’s “Hope For The Holidays” program that helps families during the holidays that have experienced severe medical hardships over the past year and may otherwise have little to look forward to during the holiday season.

“ What an evening and what a generous outpouring of support from the community,” said Blake Alford, CEO of CEI. “As a locally owned company, it is import to us that our philanthropic efforts are felt on local level. We know that with Me Fine this will happen,” he added.
