Meenakshi Bali Memorial Grant
When our precious two year old daughter Meenakshi was fighting for her life at Duke Children’s hospital, the Me Fine Foundation supported us unconditionally when [other agencies] told us we did not qualify for benefits because our daughter’s cancer was too RARE.
Me Fine helped us pay our bills anytime we asked, we received grocery and gas credit cards by simply making a phone call and asking for it. ME FINE gave us Christmas when we neither had the funds or the enthusiasm for the holiday. They helped to keep our lives stable at a time when I was pregnant with our 3rd child, I had a 3 year old at home to also care for and we were fighting for Meenakshi’s life. They never made us fill out an application to see if we QUALIFIED for help. They simply helped us.
REAL PEOPLE, REAL HELP, REAL SUPPORT, REAL COMPASSION during a time of REAL NEED.
After our experience we have decided that we will only give our support to these human beings who make a difference in the lives of families who are LIVING IN CRISIS based solely on HUMANITY and not paperwork. A member of our Miracle Network established this fund in memory of our sweet angel. Now we work hard to keep it funded. 100% of the proceeds go to the ME FINE Foundation to do what they do best~
