The exorbitant cost of care for a child battling a critical illness or medical crisis can have devastating financial consequences even the most well-prepared family. Me Fine knows that these families, who are already dealing with incredible emotional hardship, need fast, hassle-free help without lengthy applications and additional screening processes. Me Fine works closely with social workers and staff members at Duke Medical Center, WakeMed Children’s Hospital, and UNC Children’s Hospital to fund hospital emotional and psychosocial support programs. In addition, Me Fine provides tangible goods, services, and financial support by working directly with lienholders and service providers to provide funds via direct transfer.
